Preservation of Fertility

Sperm Freezing

It consists of taking several samples of semen in order to keep several vials in freezing for later use in assisted reproduction. It is performed in cases in which the man can not be present the day of the procedure to be performed on the woman or when it is required to preserve the future fertility prior to a cancer treatment.

Freezing of Eggs

It is done in cases of wanting to preserve future fertility in cases of cancer, near menopause, absence of spouse or some other disease.

Embryo Freezing

It is performed after an in vitro fertilization or ICSI when there are surplus embryos of good quality for future use in case of non-pregnancy or search for a new one. It is also done in cases where the transfer can not be performed due to a technical problem or when the pregnancy is a danger to the health or life of the woman.
